"Working with Rob as a speaker was a dream. Even though we onboarded him late into conference planning, he was incredibly responsive and went out of his way to get us everything we needed. Rob’s story is visceral, yet he delivered it with wisdom and courage onstage. Our attendees valued his ability to address a potentially heavy topic in such a productive way. The man operates from a high level of integrity and that reflects in everything he does. Book him – you’ll be glad you did."

What People Are Saying

Chief Weisbaum has a long history of service to his stakeholders and peers.  His diagnosis of multiple sclerosis has provided an unwelcome opportunity to serve the EMS community in yet another way. He has taken an ongoing battle with a devastating diagnosis and turned it into an inspiring story of resilience and service.

EMS work often lacks meaningful opportunity to talk about resilience.  EMS providers frequently see their career disrupted by life challenge. Rob tells a compelling story about his ongoing journey through MS and uses it to foster discussion about how public servants can thrive.

With more than 20 years as a clinician I've seen many changes and evolutions in medicine. Right now we're riding a wave of resilience and mental health support for healthcare providers. Robert Weisbaum is speaking from the crest of that wave.

He presents from a very personal vantage point with meaningful lessons and all the while has been inspiring others to do the same.

From day one that we met at Tri-State Care Flight to now — every occasion we get to work together — you have always amazed me what a wonderful human being you are! Perspective towards life that you have and what you do for living, your stories, it gives me goosebumps brother. You simply are a beautiful soul.

My interest in the fire service started at the early age of fourteen years old. I was enamored with the comradery, skills, and service the fire service could provide to my community. The reality of my situation was there was little opportunity to get fully involved in the daily operations and training of my local 911 system. However, I was incredibly lucky to have met and be mentored by Rob Weisbaum. Rob would routinely go out of his way to impart his decades of knowledge, and provided me with the immense responsibility of a first responder at a young age. I can confidently say Rob has instilled a level of discipline in how I practice medicine and conduct myself in high stress situations. Rob has inspired be to be the very best provider I can be and most importantly to never stop learning and progressing my knowledge. Today I am a Paramedic in very busy urban system and attribute a large part of my continued success to the foundations and morals Rob instilled in my early in my life.
